ION Geophysical Corporation

In September 2007 Input/Output announced that it had changed its company name to ION Geophysical Corporation. The name change was accompanied by a re-branding initiative that reflected the company's evolution from its legacy as a seismic equipment manufacturer to its present position as a broad-based provider of cutting-edge imaging technologies, services, and solutions for the global oil & gas industry.

Neoscreative were contracted to design and build the new ION booth for the launch of the new brand at the recent Society of Geophysicists exhibition that took place in San Antonio, Texas.

“This proved to be a tough project as the new brand design, colour palette and application guidelines were not agreed when we started designing, and so we had to use our best judgement in order to create an impressive design that could accept the new logo” stated Ian Chinnock, Managing Director of Neoscreative. He continues” in fact, the colour palette was not even in place prior to the stand being despatched for Texas. Therefore the entire stand had to be decorated on-site and all soft furnishing sourced locally in order to fit in with the new colour scheme”

The final stand was a great success, drawing much admiration from visitors and competitors alike.
