FCM, Business travel show, Feb 2009

FCm Travel Solutions is a world class travel and expense management consultancy that blends global presence with local, flexible and personal service.

Neoscreative was selected to work with FCm to design a modular stand that would work in a number of different space sizes yet retain and promote the company’s corporate image wherever and in whatever size applicable. Budget was definitely an issue and the first two shows under discussion both had finite budgets that could not be exceeded. In point of fact we managed to design, build and install the first stand for the same price quoted by the previous contractor to reinstall the stand from the 2008 show, quite a feat, and something that really impressed the client!

The initial design featured at this year’s Business Travel Show that took place in early February at Earls Court. The 80sq m stand needed to raise the company profile from the previous show, offering a business like yet informal working environment akin to a VIP airport lounge with the main emphasis on hospitality. Two areas were needed to provide this, one a more open bar like area, with high poseur tables and bar stools, the second a more private, comfortable area with coffee tables and low tub chairs. The overall design met all the clients’ requirements and was extremely well received by staff and visitors alike.

The second show, Offshore Europe that takes place in Aberdeen in September will have a 25 sqm version of this stand and is set to be equally successful.
